CLASSES + WORKSHOPS
Maybe you want to try something creative. Maybe you want to find a new hobby. Or maybe you want to meet new people while sharing a moment with dear friends. Whatever it is, we are here for the making.
Art Journaling
$40/per person, per class
Art journaling is expressing yourself visually with images and words using collage, paint, and color. It's not about making “pretty" or "perfect". We don't make mistakes -- we have Happy Accidents.
Art journaling is about the process, not the outcome: we're simply expressing ourselves. You won’t leave with a beautiful drawing of a bowl of the countryside or a bowl of fruit. You will, however, walk out relaxed, rejuvenated, and more closely connected to yourself and other strong, supportive women.
The community here is nonjudgemental and deeply inspiring. Classes are full of healing, feel-good-ness, and M&M's.
We meet every other Tuesday morning from 10:30-12:30 pm OR there's another session every other Thursday night 7-9:00 pm.
All art supplies and light snacks are supplied. Students are welcome to bring their photos, magazine clippings, snacks, beverages, etc.). We use 9" x 11" hard-bound journals that we also sell for $15, or you can bring your own.

‘Tween + Teen Art Journaling Summer Fun!
Led by Emily Cline, these classes are where kids make new friends, share roses and thorns with their peers, and build a journal with their {constantly evolving} selves! These are not product based classes, but rather process: no perfection here. Especially in the summertime!
One of the most valuable things about these classes is socialization. We all need to laugh, vent, and get our wiggles out. And, most importantly, it's electronic-free!
Sunday, August 3, 10 @ 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm for $30/pp, all art supplies included *except a journal. Guests are welcome to bring their own, or use a free composition notebook here, or purchase one for $10 at the studio.

Wax Poetic
Encaustic art is made using melted beeswax. When combined with collage, you can create a layered, translucent piece of art. Photos and other images peek through the layers, giving a misty magical look. Judi Delgado brings her mastery and more toys than Michaels has to the workshop.
Saturday, July 19, 1-3:00 pm $60, all materials included.
Instead of a base of paper, we'll use a "cradled board" It's a thick wooden frame, with a flat board attached to the top. This means that once you've created your artwork, it will be ready to hang, giving it a much more finished and professional look.
Introduction to Ice Dyeing
Join us for Ice Dying. In this fun 3-hour workshop we'll introduce you to the magic that is ice dying. We'll go through all the steps of the process and you'll go home with your beautifully dyed items and the tools to do it again. The class includes over 60 colors to choose from, a pool wrap/scarf and tea towel to dye and take home, and instructions for at home steps. Feel free to bring a t-shirt, thin sweatshirt in your size or 1-2 yard piece of natural fabric to dye also.
Please note that anything you bring must be 95% cotton, linen, hemp, or rayon that is white or other natural color. Dye results will vary based on the material. Be sure to wash your item prior to the class and do not use any fabric softener or dryer sheets.
Wear clothes and shoes that can get messy! The pre soaking water and dyes can mark shoes and clothes.
